Narrogin Senior High School (SHS) is a genuine comprehensive educational institution on a whole school improvement journey encompassing Fogarty EDvance. Our Business plan commenced last year with a clear direction based on student outcomes. We have a strong academic focus reflecting the aspirations and desires of its contributory community, an outstanding sporting record, and a long-standing commitment to ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) program.

The nostalgic two storey structure of the school has pride of place in the town and has been built on the highest point in the district with sweeping views of the town and the hinterlands. An extensive building program has resulted in a new Hospitality Trade Training Facility, a new Administration building, and new state of the art Music and Performing Arts centres. Narrogin SHS also draws students from all directions including Boddington, Wickepin, Pingelly, and Wagin.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Narrogin Senior High School in 2025 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2 500 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure).  Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.   

The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
