The Role

We are seeking passionate educators with strong knowledge of the Western Australian (WA) Curriculum who can plan and implement differentiated learning experiences that engage students and maximise their potential. Suitable applicants should be confident in delivering high-quality education, consistently focused on improving student outcomes. To thrive in this role, you will ideally be motivated, energetic, team-oriented, and student-centred, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Suitable applicants would display exemplary instructional practices that drive student achievement and progress, using explicit lesson designs, instructional strategies, and flexible program delivery. Regular engagement in professional conversations aimed at improving teaching practice, adhering to whole-school approaches, and optimising student success is advantageous. Applicants should ideally have a deep understanding of how to teach and model social-emotional skills and positive behaviour, fully supporting school-wide behaviour management strategies.

For educators working in the early years (Kindergarten to Year 2), a strong emphasis on purposeful, play-based learning—aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework—is highly valued, along with a demonstrated commitment to fostering early literacy development. Familiarity with key approaches like cooperative learning, high-impact teaching strategies, and restorative practices is advantageous, along with knowledge of Heggerty, Letters and Sounds, Talk 4 Writing, URSTRONG, Brightpath, First Steps Mathematics, and Paul Swan strategies.

Confidence in integrating digital technologies across the curriculum is crucial, with interactive whiteboards, iPads, and laptops regularly incorporated into lesson design.
